Summer is finally upon us, which means it’s time to hit the road to visit family, friends, or just get away.  In addition to planning your route, you may also want to see how much gas will set you back along the way.    So it is cold outside, and likely to remain so for a while. The economy sucks and the news is mostly depressing. Maybe you just need to get away from it all!!!

Be sure to check for what the policies are for baggage and what time to arrive at the airport as many have changed their policies. Also be sure to pack appropriately and check for what types of items are not allowed on airplanes. A photo ID such as a drivers license or passport is also needed to board a plane or a cruise boat. Be sure you know what is needed before leaving home. Most airlines also offer you the chance to check in online and print your own boarding pass within 24 hours of your flight departure.

 

  Once you have decided on and airline you will also see they offer deals on hotels and rental cars as well. Just follow their instructions and make your choices to suit your needs.
