People are increasingly relying on the Internet for business, personal finance and investment services, and Internet fraud is becoming more prevalent.  Fraud takes many forms on the Internet, from phony items offered for sale on EBay, to false rumors that can influence stock prices, or the perpetual scams that promise big money if you use your own bank account to help in a foreign financial transaction.
