With the digital change coming in February 2009, you may want a visual guide to connecting your converter box. WLNS put up several good videos on their website. The link for their page is WLNS. They also have an informative video about DTV from Dave Graveline, host of “Into Tomorrow.”

The switch is just around the corner. February 17th 2009 is the big day. Analog signals will no longer be used. If you have rabbit ears and an analog television, a converter box is needed. Many places sell converter boxes such as Wal-mart, Target, Best Buy, and Meijer. The government is giving out $40 coupons to help with the cost. The Downtown Branch of the Capital Area DIstrict Library has some coupon applications located in the Computer Center or you can go to www.DTV2009.gov and apply online.
